SILICONE SPONGE - WOULD IT PASS?

MEET YOUR NEW BEST FRIEND!
Loving makeup also means you got to work hard to earn enough money ($$$) to pay for most of these products that cost a fortune.
To add to this, the typical makeup brush or sponge absorbs most of the foundation before you even apply it, and only half the makeup ever actually makes it onto your face.
Well, better make way!
Because at the end of 2016, a new innovation arrived!

SO WHAT IS A SILICONE MAKEUP SPONGE?
The Silicone Makeup Sponge is a transparent, jelly-like, palm-sized tool flat on either side.
WHAT'S SPECIAL ABOUT IT?
Since it isn't sponge or hair-based like many other beauty tools, it won't absorb the foundation you're trying to apply, so you end up using just ... are you ready? JUST half of your makeup product!
But that's not all... because this little guy isn't absorbing makeup, it's so much easier to clean.
Just some soap and water and it's as good as new.

PREPARE TO NEVER WASTE ANY MAKEUP AGAIN
In his video below, Jeffree Star tries out the silicone sponge that has already gained popularity throughout the world. Does it get the makeup job done?
SO HOW DO YOU ACTUALLY USE IT?
Take the littlest amount of cream/liquid product and go in circular motions or back and forth to spread, until it stops spreading further.
Tap repeatedly to blend and settle, pay attention to edges (jawlines, hairlines, around the eyes.
Hold the sides and fold to create a "point" for detail and point applications.
Repeat and build coverage as needed.

OUR FIRST IMPRESSIONS…
We are all skeptical like Jeffree, but as we go along with the video, we can see that even Jeffree is amazed by this little buddy.
Using a new technique like this takes practice, the more you practice tapping and pushing the foundation out with the silicone sponge, the better your will be at achieving your desired look.
The non-porous cover won’t soak in your foundation.
The smooth, super flexible makeup applicator surface blends your foundation out to give you a similar airbrushed look to stippling, but by only using half the foundation!
Its unique appearance comes with much strength.
And since it's transparent, you can see what's happening on your face as you apply makeup and blend.
There's no need to blend, check the mirror, blend again, check the mirror again—and so on. You can do both at once.
OUR LASTING IMPRESSIONS…
Surprisingly positive! It does live up to its promise that you will only be using half the amount of foundation that you usually apply when you use a regular brush or beauty blender, thus keeping waste to a minimum.
Though Jeffree might not agree, since he uses the sponge to apply his concealer and powder foundation, you can also use it for bronzer, concealer, blush, whatever needs buffing or blending.
Plus, since it has a smooth surface, all you need to clean a silicone makeup sponge is some soap and water. (Remember all that makeup brushes cleaner you've had to purchase in the past? No more!).
Silicone makeup sponges are really worth the hype.
If you're tired of losing half your bottle of foundation to your makeup sponge, this clear silicone applicator is for you. It’s like your fingers, only better.
